Adult Sports

- We're seeking self-motivated individuals who understand the adult sports environment and are committed to creating positive experiences for all participants and staff. As the Head Sports Lead, you will serve as the primary liaison between Sports Leadership and on-site staff, ensuring clear communication, consistent program delivery, and faithful adherence to all communication, policies, procedures, and guidelines set forth by CARD.
- In this role, you will be the first point of contact for program participants and staff alike; fostering a respectful, inclusive environment while holding participants accountable for their conduct and ensuring all individuals uphold the standards expected of the program. You will be empowered to address behavioral concerns in a professional and constructive manner, escalating issues to Sports Leadership as appropriate.

After School Program
After School Program Recreation Leader

After School Program Inclusion Leader

- As an Inclusion Leader, you'll work alongside Chico Unified Administrators and CARD Recreation Leaders to support 1st -5th grade students with diverse support needs. Inclusion leaders help create a positive, welcoming, regulated environment where all participants can safely engage and be successful in an after-school program setting. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about working with children with disabilities or high support needs, promoting inclusion through encouragement, problem-solving, and teamwork. In this role you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while gaining valuable experience in recreation, education, behavior support, and child development.
Aquatics

- CARD is launching a world-class aquatics facility and we need the right leader to build it. Opening in late 2026, the new facility features a 50-meter competition pool, warm-up pool, leisure pool, water slides, lazy river, and splash pad -- complementing existing operations at Pleasant Valley Recreation Center and the Chapman Splash Pad. This is a regional aquatics destination and a genuine community investment, and we are looking for an experienced aquatics professional ready to build it from the ground up.
