Beyond Golf Chico is thrilled to announce the groundbreaking of an innovative golf course at DeGarmo Park. The ceremony will be held on Saturday, November 2nd, from 2–5 PM at DeGarmo Park and will feature light refreshments, giveaways, contests, music, and family-friendly activities. 

This highly anticipated golf course will complement the park's existing amenities and offer a unique, technology-driven recreational experience for the Chico community. Beyond Golf Chico’s innovative facility is designed to allow golfers of all ages the chance to play a 9-hole, par 3 outdoor course as well as focus on their short game on a 9-hole putting course. This phased project will offer the opportunity to play virtually at some of the world’s top golf courses while supporting a broader mission of youth mentoring and career development in the near future.

Features of the new golf course:

Phase 1 currently underway – Anticipated Completion: Spring 2025  

• Comprehensive Amenities: The facility will feature a 9-hole, par 3 lighted course, a 9-hole putting course, and a 3-hole, SNAG course. 

• Youth & Career Development: A key focus of this collaboration is to generate support for a robust youth mentoring program, aimed at providing career development opportunities for local youth. 

Phase 2 to begin in Fall of 2025 

• Golf Simulator Bays: Offering an immersive experience with 10 HD golf simulator bays, golfers can play at courses like Pebble Beach, Harbour Town, and PGA National. 

• Additional offerings will include access to professional golf instruction, a custom fitting bay, an indoor workout room, and 26 eSports computer stations. The lounge area will also be available for private parties, corporate events, and gatherings. 

• Interactive Tech: Each hitting bay is equipped with a user-friendly touchscreen, giving players access to over 223 courses worldwide. 

• Clubhouse & Restaurant: The facility will feature an 11,000 sq. ft. clubhouse, restaurant, pub, and patio.
