Do you have skills or knowledge you're excited to share? Want to earn extra income while doing something you love? CARD makes it easy! We handle the promotion, registrations, and administrative work – you focus on teaching what you’re great at.

What You’ll Need to Get Started as an Instructor:
To begin teaching with CARD, there are a few simple steps to complete:
- Submit Your Program Proposal
Submit a detailed proposal for the class or program you’d like to teach. Be sure to include all relevant information, including class descriptions, age groups, and any materials needed. - Complete a W-9 Form
This is necessary for tax purposes. You'll also need to choose your preferred method of payment:- Direct Deposit
- Check Mailed to You
- Check Picked Up at the CARD Office
- Secure General Liability Insurance
You’ll need to provide proof of insurance with CARD listed as “additionally insured” on the policy. - Live Scan Background Check
All instructors are required to undergo a background check. The cost is $32, which will be deducted from your first paycheck. - Sign the Instructor Agreement
After reviewing, you’ll need to sign a contract via DocuSign to finalize the process.
