Tai Chi Chuan

The practice of Tai Chi Chuan is beneficial for all ages as a mind/body exercise that teaches mindfulness, presence, a state of “flow”, and moving from the “core. In this class, students will learn traditional Yang style Tai Chi Chuan, and from new beginners to others who may have practiced some Tai Chi, all are welcome. This approach teaches Tai Chi as an internal martial art based on Chinese medicine, philosophy, and meditation. Students will find that the more time spent practicing, the greater the benefits, and serious long term study of this ancient Chinese exercise only gets more interesting. Quoting Grand Master Tung Kai Ying: The goal is not to demonstrate strength, power, or violence…the goal is to attain serenity, tranquility, and the discovery of oneself.
