Get ready to celebrate Independence Day in true Chico fashion! The 2nd Annual 4th of July Parade is set to bring Downtown Chico to life with a spectacular display of community pride, creativity, and patriotic spirit. CARD invites individuals, families, businesses, and organizations to be a part of the parade and showcase what makes our community so vibrant!

Whether you’re rolling in a decorated float, marching with a band, dancing with a team, riding on horseback, or walking with a group, there’s a place for everyone in this celebration. Parade entry fees are affordable, with special discounts for veterans and active military.

"This parade is a reflection of our diverse and thriving community, but it truly comes to life through participation," said CARD General Manager Annabel Grimm. "We want as many community members as possible to join in and make this an unforgettable experience for all!"

Date: Friday, July 4th
Time: Parade begins at 9 AM sharp
Location: Downtown Chico
Spectators attend FREE!

We’re looking for an exceptional youth (age 17 and under) to serve as the Grand Marshal for this year’s parade! If you know a young person who embodies patriotism, family-friendly values, and a love for our local parks and heroes, submit your nomination today!
